We walked all around Dorsoduro as the sun set and ended up at Dogana when the sky was deep blue. The next day we visited the exhibition, the venue is fantastic and so was all the art. I enjoyed so much to see Cy Twombly. I just sat for a long time and just contemplated these amazing paintings.
We took a few hours to visit the Palazzo Grassi. I was impressed by this beautiful old Palazzo and the contrast of all this modern art inside and some outside. In the entrance this big peace with pop music bouncing the walls and a disco floor with a multitude of colors pulsating to the music, covering one big wall pictures of actors portaying nazis in different movies through time. Untitled (Dancing Nazis), 2008, by Piotr Uklanski.
There is so much art to see in Venice. Next time I go to Venice I will visit The Peggy Guggenhiem Collection and also see the art in the churches.
